SHARP APPOINTS EUROPEAN BUSINESS MANAGERS TO DRIVE DEVELOPMENT OF MANAGED PRINT AND CONTENT SERVICES

Sharp Europe today announces it has appointed three new business managers to its Document Solutions business in Europe. Max Fox, Managed Print Services, Rob Davis, Managed Content Services and Rashid Maknin, Business Manager Solutions, will have responsibility for developing, taking to market, and growing Sharp’s managed print and document management services, which will complement its existing document solutions hardware.
Jason Cort, Director Product Planning and Marketing, for Sharp’s Information Systems division commented; “We have created these new roles to fast track Sharp’s development into a managed print services and document management provider. We have ambitious plans in Europe to broaden our portfolio of integrated applications that create a service ecosystem around our award-winning MFP products to create greater customer value. Our new business managers bring a wealth of solutions and services experience to support our teams in every European market.”
Max Fox is appointed as Business Manager for Managed Print Services across Europe. He will be responsible for the development of Sharp’s managed print service offerings, which enhance the user experience, enable customers to reduce and avoid cost, while gaining business efficiencies. Fox brings 24 years of experience in the managed print services environment within both Xerox and Konica Minolta. At Sharp, he will be focused on growing its SME customer base and targeting new enterprise markets across different vertical markets.
Rob Davis has joined as Business Manager for Managed Content Services in Europe. He will lead the development and growth of Sharp’s virtual information and collaboration solutions including Cloud Portal Office. Davis has 20 years of experience in the document, content management and business process automation industry including with Avanquest Software and his own business, which was later acquired by Document Genetics, where he became head of cloud services.
Rashid Maknin is appointed as Business Manager Solutions to develop a product portfolio to underpin Sharp’s Office and Production Print services in Europe. Previously, Maknin was senior product manager at Ricoh Europe where he developed a standardised portfolio of offerings and proprietary software for added revenue now worth over 20 million Euros each year.
